What is involved in the cleaning process? ​ Your surfaces will be cleaned by a commercial specification petrol driven pressure washer. Surfaces are cleaned with a lance and flat surfaces are cleaned with a rotary cleaner. This equipment will achieve the highest results far more effectively than a DIY machine – saving you time and money

 

​Can any home benefit from pressure washing? Yes. As long as you have access to a water supply and access to the area being cleaned, then we are good to go!

Do I need to do anything ahead of the clean? All we ask if that all vehicles and other items, such as garden furniture and plant pots are cleared from the area. We are able to help with this if required and this can be discussed during the quoting process. You will also be required to keep children and pets away from the area being cleaned.
 

Will I need to be at home when the cleaning takes place? No, you do not need to be in while the clean is taking place, providing that we have access to the water supply for the duration of the work.

 

​Are any chemicals used in the cleaning process? The cleaning process generally uses just high pressure water. However, we may also use diluted bleach to help the cleaning process where necessary. We will discuss the use of chemicals with you first before using any.
 

Can all stains be removed? The appearance of most stains will be significantly improved although it is impossible to guarantee they'll be completely removed. (Oil stains are especially difficult to remove completely for example). Similarly, we cannot guarantee to completely remove all algae and lichen. Black spot Lichen is VERY difficult to remove completely, although you will notice a significant improvement overall.

 

We have a water meter. How much will the water cost? Southeast water currently charges £2.74 per cubic meter of water (1000 litres). The clean of an average drive will use around 2000 litres, so around £5 in water.
 

Why are there no prices quoted on your website? We charge per m2, however this depends on the type of surface and the condition it is in. Our prices are very competitive and consistent between every customer.
 

My drive is covered in weeds. Will they come back? This is a very common question...Block paved driveways are very low maintenance, but not NO maintenance - so the answer is yes, weeds will come back. There may be root systems under the paving that cannot be removed by cleaning alone - so you need to carry out routine maintenance by weed killing and sweeping. Add it to your gardening routine, just like cutting the grass or de-weeding flower beds.
